Spring Is In Full Swing

Hey There!

A few weeks ago I told you all about the bird that got into my house.  Well, as Paul Harvey puts it, now the rest of the story...  It turns out she has a nest in the wreath I put on my front door.  Not only that, but she met a handsome male and they have since made little birdies.  I have been watching them for awhile as they fly off to find food for their little babies.  At first they looked like worms with some fuzz.  Now they are growing up and they I think they are starting to chirp!  It's such an exciting thing to watch... and a treasured sign of spring.

I am also trying my hand at gardening.  I planted my vegetable garden and a few flower beds.  However, I am most proud of my beautiful hanging baskets.  If I can just keep them looking like they do now... that may be tough!

As you can see, spring is my favorite season and watching everything come back to life is certainly one of my favorite hobbies!  See for yourself!

Cheers!

Rae Chelle

Look very closely and you can see her beak poking out! It's about half way up the picture!

This one is so classy looking with the red white and violet colors!

You can't see these as well but they are called fushia.  They look like bells with red and violet blooms.

Forgot to ask, Did you do the planters yourself or did you buy them? If you bought them where? I would love to get a couple. My husband even liked them and that is saying alot he hates flowers. How are your little birds doing? Our goslings are about 4 inches now and are wondering ALL over. It's making my dogs crazy.

Posted by: Anonymous Rae Chelle if you keep that wreath up, next year you will be able to see this again. How very lucky you are. We just had goslings born by us and it is wonderful. YEAH, Spring.
