Heading to work this morning was a white-knuckle experience. My wipers were working overtime, yet I still could hardly see. I happened to be traveling in the middle of several tractor-trailer rigs, which was good, because I used them to mark the lanes since I couldn't see the lane stripes with the hard rain......by the way, if you feel the need to stop under an overpass.....PLEASE PULL WAY OVER! I couldn't believe the cars sitting inches from passing cars.
Anyway, we seldom got above 45mph, which turned out to be another good thing since I had apparently picked up an unknown hitchhiker at home. As I was nearing WIBW, I noticed something on the bottom of the driver side window.....it was a little frog hanging on for dear life. I hadn't stopped since I left the house, so I can only assume it is one of the little guys that I occasionally see around my yard.
I'm glad he has strong little fingers, because I don't think he would have fared very well if he had fallen off in the middle of I-70. I guess he had a white-knuckle experience, too. Here is what I saw as I pulled into our parking lot. Doug
