What is up Friends, I looked back in the archives and look what I found..... It was a year ago when I wrote this blog and thought I would pull it back out, dust it off, and re-post. What does this year at the Bram have to offer after the Hawks lost a squeaker at Mizzou and K-State on a current win streak. Lets just say I can't wait.....can you? ei

Hello Friends,.....I said Hello Friends,.... I'm sorry I can't hear so well after experiencing the KSU-KU game. My question is could Bramlage Coliseum NOW be louder than KU's Allen Fieldhouse??? I have had the honor of working games at both places, including the game in the video, and I think it is a toss up which place is louder. KU fans will now have to take the sign down in Manhattan that reads Allen Fieldhouse West... Purple Reigns in the Little Apple. ei |

Response: Hey there Bubba.
The Hawks played a solid game for sure! It was fun and yes- The rivalry is back!!!!!!!!
Now where is my tissue : (
ei
Response: Hey again Ms. Angie.
Yes I drew the short straw and will be forced to have to be courtside again. WHY ME?????
I am looking for a real good game from both teams and what happens- happens.
Rock Chalk Wildcat!

Response: What is up Angie?
I think I had the same response as you when I played the video from last year...WOW.
I am sure those Jayhawk fans would just rather forget that day but ,as they say, "If we forget about our history- then we are destined to repeat the past!"
Which makes me ask the question, "What happened last year??? I seem to have forgotten :) "

Response: Hey there Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous....I am thinking that Mr. Beasley's hearing was not quite back after the Bramlage incident so he didn't quite hear the question. 10 times the volume in Manhattan would equal hearing aids for everyone!
Response: Well ya know T-shane...they got to start some where. I have heard from fans who do go to the KU games that the volume has come down through the years. Might have something to do with the seating arrangement they now have in the Field House. True???
Response: OK Mr. KU if you say so.......But I have been to games in both places and that night at K-State was a night to top all. I'm just saying (as you kids say).
Response: Huh? What? Excuse me?
Let me adjust my hearing aid since loosing part of my hearing from the game.
I heard comments that it got soooo loud that it hurt their ears. I must say by listening to the talk on sports talk shows and comments from national people who were at the game talk --- Bramlage is OFFICIALLY the noisest place in the country to watch basketball.
Agree?

Response: To each is own RS. I prefer to be courtside with a camera on my shoulder dodging the players as the come flying out of bounds. I'm strange that way.
I have not heard Osage City band but remember who they are playing too....Kids who normally have their I-pods cranked full blast in their ears...those crazy kids love that loud music- I hear.
