I came across this an article entitled America's Biggest Rip-offs on CNNMoney.com. Most of the items on the list were no surprise to me. I know I'm overcharged every day for a lot of the items I buy. But have you ever done the math? Some items you purchase regularly have mark-up rates of more than 1000%. Yes, that's no typo, 1-thousand-percent...10x100. Yikes!

Read the article and send me your thoughts.  I'd love to share them on 13 News This Morning.

That's why I buy generic whenever I can. The college textbook really hit home. That's the biggest scam known to man. You pay $50 for a book, use it one semester, sell it back for $20 then they resell it for $40 to the next poor student. But by semester end most of us were so desperate for money we'd sell the dumb books back. I want to say you were a great sport to let Amanda draw on your face on your roadtrip. Was Dave acting much or is her really that way? He strikes me as the restless type who could drive you nuts on a long car trip. :)
