This is your chance to apply to be on the popular CBS television show "The Amazing Race!"

WIBW-TV will be recording your application video for you at Qdoba Mexican Grill that can be up to two (2) minutes long. You will want to bring your best TV personality and any (legal) props that you think may help show your passions to get selected for the show!

You will have to bring with you or fill out an application at the casting call which is 13 pages long. So, there is a link below to access, print out, and bring with you if possible. There will be applications at Qdoba by January 25th through February 8th if you would like to pick one up beforehand or fill it out at the casting call.  (WIBW-TV will be sending in all applications upon completion of the event.)

If you were to send in the application as an individual you would need to have a valid passport copy to send in. BUT since this is an open casting call the passport copy is NOT required. However, if you have one or would like to apply for one please bring in the copy for us to turn in with your application.

One more item that you need to bring with you is a photo or photos of the persons applying. This isn't required either but is highly suggested by the Casting Directors for the show.

    Do you have to be 21 to be on the Amazing Race? I have read that you do but I am also a member of HNE Reality Tv and they never said anything about it when I asked.

    How many people turned out for the casting call? It would be extremely exciting to have someone from Kansas compete in the up coming season! Good luck to all those who submitted!

    The website says the application is due on February 4th? Since the casting call is on the 8th our applications will still be accepted right? RESPONSE: Yes. CBS has approved our date to submit them for Season 17.

    On the application/rules it says to have everything in by 2/4/10. If we come to the open call on 2/8 will they still accept our application at that time? RESPONSE: Yes. CBS has approved our date to submit them for Season 17.

    We are traveling from Arizona to come to the casting call. Will there be Amazing Race Producers there at the Casting Call or is it something the News Channel is hosting? RESPONSE: CBS requests affiliates to host open casting calls. There will not be anyone from the show or CBS at the event.

    the application says all applications must be recieved by feb 4th, does that still apply if we come to the casting call? RESPONSE: No. CBS has approved us doing our casting call on the 8th for Season 17.
