It's always amazing to me how quickly a year can pass. 2011 was no exception! As with many years, just when I think it really wasn't very eventful, I begin recalling how much took place in my life!

In 2011, I was honored to be recognized by Topeka's Women in Communications chaper and by the Marquette University College of Communication. I was proud to complete my second half marathon this year. I enjoyed watching three nephews play together on a state champion baseball team. My husband and I realized a dream trip by traveling to Australia. We also had the "fun" of dealing with a lightning strike at our house the day of our wedding anniversary and losing several trees across our driveway during that major wind storm about a month later!
