When we were kids, we could always expect a new outfit under the tree from our parents for Christmas. As we got older, though, Mom gave up! As teens tend to develop different taste - at least different taste from their parents! - we got to returning all the clothes and picking out something else! Never fear, though - Mom's made a comeback in recent years and I've loved the sweaters she's chosen. Not only that, she's made an annual tradition of the gift that's always the right size - a box of assorted Wisconson cheese!
Stores were packed as usual this day after Christmas. If you were out and about, what drew you to the aisles? Share the gifts you returned (you change the names to protect the innocent!) or what you took your chances at getting a better buy on!
Happy New Year!
