You'll hear all sorts of endings to the sentence "It's so hot...." this week! I'm not particularly creative, so I'll let you share your best lines here - I only request you keep it clean, please!

It's so hot, I'm finding my routine shaken up a bit. The alarm is going off before 6:30 am and I'm lacing up the running shoes and heading out the door shortly after - I'm horrible at wake-up-and-run!! BUT it's better than the alternative of not doing it, or waiting until even 9 am and making myself sick.

The heat is nothing to mess around with. While you might think of tornadoes or hurricanes as a greater threat to life, it's actually heat that causes the most weather-related deaths. So check on your family, friends and neighbors, pay attention to what your body is telling you and keep a close eye on the kiddos at all those ballgames!

Summer is just getting started, so we'll be finding new ways to say "It's so hot...." for a long time yet!
