Sunny Florida seems to have a lot people with not-so-sunny spirits! Men's Health Magazine posted an article ranking 100 cities from happiest to saddest. Three Florida cities rank in the bottom 10 - Tampa, St. Petersburg and Miami. The study looked at suicide rates, unemployment rates and anti-depressant use, among other things, in creating its list.
So where should you go to find a happy place? I wasn't surprised to see Honolulu topping the list! If you can't head across the ocean, you can drive a few hours north to Omaha, Nebraska - it ranked fourth. And it's no wonder Matt Blanchette likes Boston - it came in as the fifth-happiest city. Among other places of interest, Wichita was 32nd happiest while Kansas City was down at number 73.
Here's a link to the full list - just remember to lighten up when you read it! http://www.menshealth.com/best-life/frown-towns?cm_mmc=Yahoo_Health-_-America%E2%80%99s%20Saddest%20Cities-_-Slideshow-_-Frown%20Towns
