August is the month network television is working overtime to whet your appetite for what's to come. While we bide our time with reruns or reality/game shows, we are also treated to endless promotions for the new crop of shows coming our way in September.
One I'm looking forward to is CBS' "Person of Interest." I'm still not entirely sure what it's about, but the more I see the promos for it, the more intrigued I am. Plus, I really liked its star, Michael Emerson, when he played Ben on "Lost." One final selling point is the mind of J.J. Abrams, whow was previously behind both "Lost" and "Alias," two shows I really liked.
I am also intrigued to see how Ashton Kuchter changes "Two and a Half Men." I've never had strong feelings about him either way and I'm not sure I'm a fan of how we're hearing they're going to write him into the show - as an internet millionaire who comes to town after Charlie dies with no real connections to the family - but I'm willing to give it a chance. Honestly, the supporting cast of Jake, Alan and Berta made the show fun so I hope they don't abandon those characters in favor of keeping the focus on Kutcher as "the" star.
How about you? What shows will you be adding to your must-see list? And which are you excited to see return?
