A hit and run accident caught on tape has people talking. The video is included here. It happened in Hartford, Connecticut. 78-year old Angel Torres steps out to cross the street and is hit by a car that crosses the double line. The vehicle takes off, leaving Torres in the street. Bad enough. But it's what the video shows next that has people talking. Torres lies in the street for a full minute before someone comes out to help him. You see a woman on the sidewalk come to the curb, then turn around - maybe she went to get help, who knows. Several more people walk by on the sidewalk - they look to the street, but don't do anything. Then you see a man dropped off by a vehicle in the street - he grabs his briefcase, and walks right past Torres. Finally, a man ventures into the street to alert traffic, and a police car pulls up. Watch the video and let me know what you think. Were people taking action and you just can't tell from watching? Or do people so not want to get involved that they're able to ignore a man essentially dying in the street? Let's get your thoughts.
