I've been a bit off on my blogging this week. Sorry about that - time seems to get away from me whenever Ralph is off. No, he's not lucky enough to be hanging out in Omaha watching basketball games. He's just enjoying spring break time with his kids. That means I'm taking over his regular duties (as he'd do for me when I'm off). You might not realize that Ralph puts together the 4 pm newscast every day largely on his own. He also has a couple radio reports he records. It's a nice division for us when we're both here - he does that, while I attend to Running Mate, To Your Health and 5 pm tasks, among other things that come up. But when one of us is gone, the other gets awful busy! Of course, I think Ralph planned this one pretty well. You see, with NCAA basketball games, our late news may not get on the air until after 11 pm Thursday and Friday - talk about past our bedtimes! I hope you stay up late - we'll all be pretty tired and you never know what we'll say!
