I finally got on the MP3 bandwagon last summer. No, not an I-pod - just a run of the mill portable music playing device. I'm from the days of walkmans and portable CD players, so this new way to listen to a variety of music (not just one -date myself here- cassette tape!) can bring up an interesting discussion. What song or songs are on your music player that you might not freely admit? It's like that commercial for the voice-activated vehicle response, where the passenger says, "Play artist Michael Bolton" - and the driver is mortified when one of his songs actually comes on. "Play artist Korn!" his voice cracks to cut off his uncool music selection. So let's dish - 'fess up to your eclectic tastes. Guess that means I'll start. I have the Blackeyed Peas "My Humps" - just because it has a good beat for when I'm running!
(ps - I had this conversation with Brian Dorman one day - so let's check back for his musical confession!)
