Helping Hands *Video Segment Included
I hope you had a chance to check out our special program Monday night, "Helping Hands." It sums up the current conditions of the Helping Hands Humane Society shelter on NW Rochester Road in Topeka and why it is they need a "helping hand" from you to build a new shelter. For those who didn't see it, I wanted to share one segment with you. It's one that tugs at the heart strings, as it spells out the reality of the cramped quarters the shelter deals with day to day. We hope it inspires you to help the shelter with its $5.5 million campaign for a new shelter. You can learn more about that and make a pledge to help Saturday when we bring you a special "Pledges for Pets" telethon from 2 to 5 pm on WIBW-TV. I might even bring in my adopted family member, Bam Bam, for an appearance! Thanks in advance.
