Olympics Opening Ceremony

Let me confess... that on an occasion or two... I may actually watch other TV stations.  :(

OK... so let me also confess that watching the "Opening Ceremonies" of the Olympics has never been something I put on my day planner.  Whether or not you are a fan of China...  THE most amazing live performances I have ever seen.  It was the most amazing live performance that I can even imagine.

From the drums, to the dresses, to the massive LCD and especially the guys in the boxes... I was blown away.  I could watch that performance over and over.  It was absolutely amazing.

I am doubtful that any nation in our lifetime will put as much effort, time and money into an opening ceremony.  The bar was not just set high, they removed the bar... and launched it into space.

OK... now I will return to my life-long refusal to watch any television station other than WIBW-TV, My Topeka TV, and occasionally Kansas Now 22.  ;)

If you watched it(and I will forgive you for admitting to changing channels for just that brief window of time), what did you think?

Jeremy

The opening ceremony was spectacular! The drummers especially...my goodness, they way they were perfectly synchronized...I was speechless after that performance!
