We average about 20 inches of snowfall per winter in Topeka. So far... we have recorded 31.7 inches of snow in the winter of 2007/2008. Another 7 inches of snow would put us into the 5 "snowiest" recorded winters in the capital of Kansas. Given the pattern we have already witnessed... and the time of year... it is quite possible to make the top 5. Keep your shovels ready.
