Being the sports guy, I'm really just a sports junkie at heart living out my childhood dreams through others that actually have a measurable amount of athletic ability. Even though I'm a bit past my prime, I sure enjoy doing anything athletic when I get the chance.
That being said, my good friend Nick and I have a ski trip planned for the end of this month (and maybe my roommate Craig can make it as well). We're headed to Park City, Utah for four days of white carpet. I can't wait to hit the powder, the groomers, the tree runs, the moguls (kinda), the terrain park (maybe), and especially the lodge. The Canyons Resort is our destination, a huge resort just outside of Park City, and just a short drive from Salt Lake City.
UPDATE, 02-16: We just got back from Keystone, Colorado for a little warm up trip. It was a lot of fun. Dave, Amanda, Cole, and I headed out Friday after Kansas Prep Zone, and drove through the night. We skiied on Saturday and Sunday, and then drove back through the night so Dave could anchor the morning show. It was a blast, but we were really stinking tired. Here are some pictures from Keystone:
