It's hard to believe that the Olympics are already upon us.  It's that time when Americans actually pay attention to Track and Field, Gymnastics, and Swimming.  I always look forward to seeing the United States assert it's dominance in the global sporting arena, and this summer in Beijing is no different (I just hope the basketball team takes care of business) 

Feel free to share your favorite Olympic moment, or your favorite sporting event.  I'll start:

My favorite Olympic moment was seeing Mohamed Ali (an Olympic champion in 1960) take the torch in 1996 in Atlanta, hold it up victoriously, and light a flare that traveled up to the cauldron.  Shivers.
