Worlds of Fun?

I went to World of Fun in KC-MO last week with a few friends and had a pretty good time, BUT, I did have one complaint.  We went on a Wednesday, hoping to avoid the long lines that come from the weekends.  We did a good job of that, the lines were short, but they took forever!  Come to find out, all of the coasters were only running one train.  They have the capacity to run 3 on some of the coasters, and in my previous experience have run at least two.  I don't get it.  I'm sure it's something about not wanting to bring in extra help to run the extra train, but man... those lines took forever!  That being said, I still had a blast riding the rides, and losing money at the games, specifically the basketball game I futily attempted to win a prize.  Feel free to chime in.

Did it bring back old memories of playing for ESU shootin around the Three Point Challenge? Bet you blazed it!

Response: Actually, I was really lousy. I blame the goal height though, lol.

I think that bball game is rigged. The balls aren't the same size and some are flatter than others. Did you think that too? I did go in May and it did take forever to ride the rides. Not as fun as it was when I was younger.

Worlds of Fun is ok and I enjoy it still but not as much as I used to. Bummer about the long lines etc. The park I really want to go to is Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. 17 total roller coasters. Two coasters taller than the Mamba at WOF (and another one that's just as tall). It's been consistently rated among the top amusement parks in the country. Go if you ever get the chance, I know I will!

Response: My brother has been, and loved it. I really want to go some time.

We went this last Wednesday and the lines weren't bad at all. The 2nd time we rode the Mamba it took a good 20 minutes. But it was worth it!

I've always gone on a Tuesday and the lines usually moved pretty quick. I don't know I haven't been there in a while though.
