Well it's Tuesday, and that means another weigh-in for the Morning Show Boot Camp. I had another successful week. I lost 2 more pounds and have now lost 10 pounds total since the start of the year. That's 10 pounds in 8 weeks. I still have 15 more pounds to lose in the next 5 months. I'm hoping the weight continues to fall off. My diet plan has been going strong. I am starting to believe this is more about diet than exercise. Obviously, both are good, but I have been able to shed 10 pounds with an irregular workout schedule. These cold winter days make it hard to get the they gym. As I sit here right now writing this blog, there are stacks of pancakes in the break-room from IHOP for National Pancake Day. I passed on the delicious cakes and am enjoying my cup of Low-fat Yogurt. I also have not had a soda for 1 week and have been really concentrating on portion control. This weekend I treated myself to a foot-long sub from Subway and was absolutely stuffed after I ate it. That tells me my body is adjusting. I'm trying to eat to live, instead of living to eat. Having success with this weight loss thing is quite rewarding and gives me motivation to keep going. I can feel my clothes fitting better and have had to adjust where I tighten my belt. On the other hand, I see success and my mind thinks I can take a little break. I need to keep pushing forward and eventually I will be back below 200. Its been a few years and hopefully it will only be another few months.
