It is not often that we talk Royals Baseball in November, but how can you not!?!?  I am calling this the the Biggest Day in Royals History since winning the World Series in 1985.  There have not been many bright spots since that World Series Win, and in my opinion, non have made me as proud to be a Royals fan as I am Today.  Yesterday it was confirmed that Zach Greinke ,after a dominant season, was awarded the AL Cy Young Award - going to the best pitcher in the AL.  Now today, as I'm checking out some stuff on the Internet I come across several sources reporting that the Royals and Kansas City will host the 2012 All Star Game.  That's Huge!  This has not been officially confirmed by MLB but it seems obvious that some information has been leaked.  Hopefully the official announcement will be made in a few weeks.  The Boston Red Sox also wanted the 2012 All Star Game as it is their 100 year anniversary in Fenway Park.  Take that Red Sox!

What does this mean to you as a Royals Fan?  I believe season ticket holders will get first dibs on tickets.  Will you purchase season tickets to get All Star Game tickets?  How will these two great things affect the Royals as an organization?  Will it translate to wins on the field?

Talking Royals in November - who would have thunk?!?!
