New Year's Resolution - In October.

Well it's October.  The temperatures are getting lower and this is about the time of year that my weight goes up.  Not this year.  This year I am going to cut the pounds through the Holiday and Winter Season and keep the momentum right on into next summer.  I have a big day next wedding day.  What better motivation that to be in shape for my wedding day (and Honeymoon on the Beach of course).

So here it begins.  I'm serious this time.  I have lost weight before.  When I was in college I went from an all time high of 222 LBS down to 185 LBS in about 18 months.  I was IN SHAPE!  Killing it with eating good, and working out 4 or 5 days per week.

Since then I have seen my weight balloon back up to 219 LBS :(  I will admit, I have been bad with the workouts and food consumption over the last few years.

Its time to kick it into gear.  This is my pledge.  I want to get down to 195 by my wedding day next July.  That leaves a little under 10 months to lose 20-25 LBS.  I think i can do this.  Stay on me.  Don't let me slack.  Losing weight is one of the hardest things to do in life but the rewards of being in shape are huge.  Life just seems easier.  So track me over the next year and see how this goes.  It will go as planned....I Hope.
