On American Idol last night, Jessica Furney from Wamego was eliminated from the competition in the "Hollywood Round."  I know this had to be very upsetting to Jessica but she showed she is a very classy girl in her elimination.  She was obviously upset, but just said, "maybe next year," and walked off.  Other contestants embarrassed themselves after the judges eliminated them.  They yelled and threw tantrums that you would not even expect out of a 2 year old.  Not Ms. Furney.  She represented her family, friends and community very well.

Jessica was one of about 150 contestants to advance to the "Hollywood Round" from the local tryouts.  That is certainly something to be proud of.  Congrats to Jessica on a job well done!
