This story may sound extremely odd at first but don't knock it until you try it...
On Thanksgiving each year my entire family gets together for a fun filled day at the farm. We eat, laugh, cry, and enjoy the company of people that we may only see once a year. This year, one of my uncles had an extra surprise. As we got to the farm, we noticed a sign that said "First Annual Cow Chip Throwing Contest." I didn't know what was going on but I would soon find out....One of my uncles saw Cow Chip throwing on David Letterman and thought it would be a fun event for the family on Thanksgiving....boy was he right. He got on the Internet and found a farm that would ship him a box of the chips for our enjoyment. Now this is a legit game. He even marked off an official course. The world record is 182 feet and 3 inches....if you google it you will find lots of literature on throwing Cow Chips. You throw them like frisbees, and they can really fly. My longest throw was 121 feet. I thought I had won, but then one uncle bucked up and had a 122 foot toss...so I had to settle for second place. It was a very fun time, and as you will see from the photos, everyone got involved....boys and girls, young and old...yes even grandmas.
