Royals: Year in Review

Well, It's October 1st and while some cities are still in the full swing of baseball season, us KC Royals fans have been done with baseball since football started a month ago.  The Royals finished their season on Sunday with a loss the the Minnesota Twins and finished the 2008 season with a record of 75-87 and in 4th of 5 teams in the AL Central.  We finished ahead of the Detroit Tigers.  This is the first year since 2003 since the Royals have lost less than 90 games.  On the surface the record appears like a nice improvement over our 69 wins in 2007.  However, if it wasn't for a very impressive month of September we would have been talking about a team that once again lost over 90 games.  That was the story of the Royals all season.  They were either rally hot or really cold, with not much time spent in-between.

So what are your thoughts on the Royals of 2008...or don't you even care now that its October?
