I was invited to participate in the annual Shawnee County Fair Swine Wrangling Competition on Saturday.  The pig I chose was named Porkchop and he did a great job for me.  I led him through a figure 8 formation and then back into his pen quicker than any other competitor but the audience cheered loudest for another competitor so I settled for second place.  It was a great time and a fun experience.  I hope to go back next year and hopefully get a louder applause and take home the championship.  I did get a chance to talk to one of the fair organizers and he said this year's fair was one of the most successful in recent memory.
