I saw Brett Favre's Farewell Tour
Last football season the Kansas City Chiefs played host to the Green Bay Packers in a mid season tussle that ended with a Packers victory. At the time I was very upset because the Chief's had lost and that always puts me in a bad mood. However, with Tuesday's announcement that Brett Favre retired, that loss doesn't seem so bad. The Chief's held the lead going into the 4th Quarter so not only did I get to see a legend of the game play in his last season, I saw a classic Favre 4th Quarter comeback. Being the sports nut I am, I will always remember that day and it will be cool to one day say, "I saw Brett Favre play in his last season." Also that loss ended up helping the chiefs to the 5th pick in this year's NFL Draft which hopefully will land us a quality left Tackle, but that's for another blog.
