The Amazing Race - Jet & Cord - Episode 2

The biggest conversational piece before the February 27th episode of The Amazing Race was… Can Jet and Cord make it and continue the race??? After the “son of a buck” comments to get the passphrase “ I am between the devil and the deep blue sea,” Jet and Cord were able to advance to find Phil after the sail ride to learn that they were still in the race! I have to say that I was thinking they were never going to figure out the phrase! (I wish that I could go sailing sounds like fun! Have you ever gone sailing?)
The teams all had to continue racing without a stop between the first leg and second leg to find the next clue at “sail to stop.” This turned out to be an anchor at town hall… Even though Jet and Cord came in last once again they were able to make the second flight, which put them back in the game!
First to race to the Living Desert, then to race in Kangaroo suits, to the final stop the Junction Mine, Jet and Cord did make it back in the game at team #3! Can you believe their comeback! (AMAZING!)
Finish List:
  1. Zev & Justin
  2. Flight Time & Big Easy
  3. Jet & Cord
  4. Keesha & Jen
  5. Margie & Luke
  6. Mel & Mike
  7. Kent & Vyxsin
  8. Jaime & Cara
  9. Gary & Mallory
  10. Ron & Christina
  11. Amanda & Kris (ELIMINATED)
A couple other things to note in this episode is that Mel’s legs seem to be giving out on him so I am not sure how much longer he is going to be able to make it… Luke has found himself a pair of girlfriends… J I know that a large majority of the people that I talk to are HUGE fans of Jet and Cord but I have to say that I am a bigger fan of Gary and Mallory to win this thing… Thoughts?
Make sure to join in on during the program to chat about the runners and what is all taking place! Talk to you then!
