NEW Amazing Race Season Breakdown

By: Matt Blanchette

Here we go, my latest season breakdown and odds, team by team, for the Amazing Race. Sorry for being so late, the sports department keeps me busy.

Eaasily one of my favorite teams on the race. I am a sucker for young, good looking couples. They won the first leg, and appear to be a strong team. Chances of winning: 29%

The professional poker pros. aka villians. First Annie Duke on the Celebrity Apprentice, now these two. For whatever reason, poker players are considered, "Scum," says Joan Rivers. I disagree. I think it was dumb to lie in the first place. Normally I would rank them higher, because poker players are good at games, but these two seem out of place. Chances of winning: 8&
These two did nothing to distinguish themselves on the first episode. Marcy is clearly out of her mind, which could cost them. Generally I do not favor older contestants, so Chances of winning: 2%

Where to start, or should I say whaya to start. These two Massachusens, are what we like to call Massholes. You do the math. There is no way Lance is not on steriods, probably Keri too. Easily the team easiest to root against, even for someone from the area. His hotheadedness will cost them. Chances of winning: 10%

True Harlem Globetrotters. JB actually played against these dudes when they were in Topeka. I think they make a good point, being internationally known will help them. I like this team and I think they have merit, but not my favorites to win it all, though I would not be surprised if they did. Chances of winning: 25%
I totally called the fact this pair would win the duck herding. There common folk style is appealing, but something tells me a dude with pink hair is not going to win the Amazing Race. Chances of winning: 7%
Did they mention Ericka was Miss America. If you don't think I am rooting for her, you don't know me. Talk about a mis-match. Who did not wonder how Brian bagged Miss America. As Seth Meyers would say, "Really?!" They both seem a little strong in the personality department, so I think that may cost them, but let's keep her around. Chances of winning %19.
Where to start with the gay brothers from Missouri. What are the odds, right? Seems to work well together. A little over the top though if you ask me. I think they will contend, but not win. Chances of winning 14%.
Zev is by far the most loveable character since I have been watching. He blows Luke from last season away. Luke was a jerk, there I said it. Zev is the duck whisperer, Rain Man. Throw in an MIT degree and this team is dangerous. I know nothing of his disease, so the question is, will that effect them? My guess is it will at point. Chances of winning: 15%
True Christians. Yell the words "God" and "Friggen" in a negative way, but they are sexual pure, so that's OK. And of course, since they are pure, God is on there side in the Amazing Race, because he has nothing better to do than take sides in a reality game show. God's pick to win, but my chances of winning 5%
