You know what really grinds my gears, how the sports media is so quick to annoint. Minutes after the Chiefs traded Tony Gonzalez, all I could hear was what a steal it was for the Falcons, and how the Chiefs were ripped off. Excuse me, the draft pick the Chiefs received is in 2010, plus if I know anything about Scott Pioli, and I would like to think that I do, it was a preemptive move, with others to follow.
This is just a minor example, but what has been really bugging me is how ESPN gets all over certain athletes (Dwayne Wade, LeBron James). They have done this with Derrick Rose in the NBA playoffs. After what, 1 game.... 3? Sure Rose is a good player, but he is being DOMINATED in the series by Rajon Rondo. Rondo has 68 points 32 rebounds 29 assists and 12 steals compared to Rose's 57 points 13 rebounds 20 assists and 1 steal. Rose has also turned the ball over 14 times.
