Marathon Monday, as it's called, is by far the best day of the year for Bostonians. It's the day of the Boston Marathon... Patriots Day and a state holiday. Basicallty the entire city shuts down to gathers and watch the Red Sox play at 11 a.m. and watch the Marathon as it goes through Heartbreak Hill and into downtown Kenmore Square for the finish.

I have found, though, that the Boston Marathon is more than just a New England event. This is where you come in. If you, or anyone you know from Northeast Kansas is making the trip to participate, I encourage you to email me your photos, videos and results and I will get them on the air next week.
