I recently went home to Rhode Island for Thanksgiving. It was my first time there since last Christmas, and will in all likelyhood be my only trip there this year. Going home has become like work for me too, because when I do, I have so many friends and family to see that it is about overwhelming.

Anyway, this year my mother wanted a family portrait, since it is so infrequent that we are all together. Well here it is, parents Jane and Paul, brother Luke and sister Erin. Now you know the whole Blanchette gang. I had a great trip home and a great Thanksgiving Dinner (Thanks Mom!). It will just make it even tougher here in a couple of weeks when Christmas comes.
