With a divorce rate at about 50%, obviously not all Americans are marrying for life. But I think most go into it with the intent to honor those vows: "In sickness and in health, til death do us part."
I read an article this morning that said religious broadcaster Pat Robertson told his "700 Club" viewers that it's okay to divorce your spouse if they have Alzheimer's disease. He says it's justifiable because the disease is "a kind of death."
Do you agree? What would you consider "justifiable" reasons - if any - for divorce?
