Game, Set, Match...Saying See Ya

Hey Everyone! I won't try to write a clever intro leading into this blog like "It was a weekend of Baskets, Buzzers, and Ballers Being Bounced...from the NCAA Tournament." That was my favorite. Anyway, I have less than one month remaining here at Channel 13. Some of you may have noticed my absence from the TV screen over the months, many of you may not have noticed...and many of you probably don't even know who I am or don't remember so that's cool too.

Anyhow, I will be leaving Channel 13 for a job at a private school, Heritage Christian School. I took the job as Athletic Director, Coaching basketball, and teaching some classes; so I will stay very busy. I will be hanging around however at WIBW helping out with some things time to time. Some football and sports shooting on weekends now and then, maybe some news shooting, maybe some producing and editing during big sporting events..who knows. I will still be around now and then to do various parts of many of the various jobs I've done while here.

Everyone at the station has been great to work with and taught me a lot. In a business known for big heads and egos I can say that everyone at Channel 13 past and present has always been great to me During my 3 year run. Many of those people I call friends, some have left for other markets and others are still here. So thanks to the great people of Channel 13 past and present! Viewers and Blog readers thanks everyone for always watching me on Channel 13 and being supportive. My time here has included many nice and pleasant e-mails from viewers, and very few negative ones. Well, That's it , Game, Set, Match....

Thanks again!!!

Will miss you. I agree with Mike. You were the best sports anchor -- no singing, no nonsense. Good luck to you.

Awe man! I am going to miss you Adam! Good Luck at your new position as Athletic Director. It sounds exciting and you will be excellent. I hope to continue to see you occasionally on WIBW! Who am I going to give our groovy mood pens to now?

COngratulations on your new positions. Heck, you were the only 13 sports reporter that was worth watching or listening to. You did not make stupid remarks or wisecracks. You were a good honest sportscaster and well worth listening too. Take care
