Best Video Game Of All Time!

So there are many great video games out there. Who can forget Super Mario. I mean I know Atari and other game products preceded Nintendo and Mario, but I doubt any game really launched the video game industry like Mario did. (Luigi was a major part of it too) Major props to the plumber duo.

I've always been a fan of sports games, football to be exact, although there was this really awesome NHL hockey game for Sega Genesis where you could get into fights so the majority of the time my brother and our friends would try to make hard checks into the boards and cheap shots in the middle of the ice so that we could fight instead of trying to score goals. But anyway, I love how football games have developed and my favorite is the EA sports College Football game that comes out every year. Right now Im rocking the XBOX360 and NCAA Football 08 is great. The Call of Duty games for 360 are amazing as well, whether it's Call of Duty 3 (a WWII version) or Call of Duty 4 (Modern Warfare) They are both great. Halo is a favorite of many but I have never been a big Halo guy.

However, no matter how technology advances, in my mind the greatest game of all time is??????? Goldeneye for Nintendo-64. The game was way ahead of it's time, and if you pull it out the graphics may not be as defined as some games now, but really it still holds it's own. Being someone who loves to actually be activeget out, exercise, and actually play sports it's funny when my brother and I, and our friend Robbie recall the many hours (which probably equaled out to months) we spent playing that game. I remember one summer consisting of basketball camps, basketball summer leagues, and Goldeneye. I remember one New Years Day morning...about 3 a.m. being woken up by my brother who was ecstatic that he had finally beat a level to receive a cheat we had been trying to get for what seemed like a lifetime. I mean he beat Archives in 1-minute and 10-seconds to get invincibility, come on people give it up for him. Way to go Jonathan! Those were the days.lol.

Do you have a favorite video game?

(coming soon..favorite board games)

Beetle Adventure Racing for the N64...Not many people knew about the game, but those who did loved it! You could explore so much with just your car in that game.

I have two favorites - GALAGA and SUPER MARIO BROTHERS. Galaga because it was an incredibly fun way to spend a Friday night when you're 9 years old and SMB because being one of the earlier side scrollers, it rocked! It's sad, I'm 26 and still remember the Atari and what not. I'm getting old ... Nowadays, the best video game is teh FPS Medal of Honor- Allied Assault. BRING IT!

The Legend of Zelda series has to be right up there. The original was my favorite but from what I've heard they are all excellent games. And I think Madden is the King of football video games.

MARIO WORLD OF COURSE--AFTER KU'S MARIO CHALMERS. LOLOL. No--honestly I think that game was made to pass the time for stay at home moms to go pick the kiddies up from school. At least that was when I got the most out of it. Can't play it when the kid is home cause he wants to play Socom. YUCK! Anonymous

Halo is good, but it is almost always the same. Try half Life. In my opinion it is one of the best FPS ever.

Posted by: Anonymous Centipede is the greatest.
