Ernst Ulmer says he started in art carrying boxes. Those boxes were headed for an art class, and he was hit with inspiration.

Ernst says he gets inspiration from Kansas and its rich history. A history he says rivals anything that happened on the east coast!

Sherry, you can purchase the book "Between Earth and Sky " by visiting Daniel Coburn's website. Just google his name, it is an awesome book, well worth the money. Dan Coburn's photography is the best I have seen.

I have a print of KC,Mo., with Union Station in the foreground, that is signed by the artist. What is the approx. value of this piece?

Everything from Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dashboard Confessional

Favorite Season:
All of them! I love that they change so distinctly in the midwest...and don't like it when they bleed over into the next. :)

Dirtiest Job:
Cleaning Toilets as a waitress and as a life guard.

First Car:
A fifteen year old Pontiac Grand Am...I had to start it with a screw driver for a while after someone broke into it.

Favorite Activity Outside of Work:
inventing recipes (don't put taco shells in the oven, they catch on fire) trying new restaurants and finding new or little known spots around town. Email me your favorite place to eat that I should try!
