Kansas and Paraguay, two very different places united by one special organization. The Mulvane Art Museum gives us our first sneak peak at an exhibit that celebrates the partnership between Kansas and Paraguay.

Dr. Reinhild Janzen, the interim director of the Mulvane Art Museum, gave us a guided tour through "Visual Encounters With Paraguay:
Celebrating 40 Years of Kansas-Paraguay Partnership".

"We have many different businessmen, missionaries, teachers that go back and forth often. We have several students from Paraguay at several state universities in Kansas as well, like Washburn," Janzen, curator of the exhibit, explained.

"These cultural exchanges build bridges and make for a peaceful coexsitence."

You can visit the exhibit on display at the Mulvane Art Museum until April 13th. You can also check out the link to the volunteer organization this exhibit honors below.
