Alissa Sheley says she sometimes uses up to fifteen tubes of paint for her method. These plexiglass paintings are striking in color and texture!

Awarded the Arizin' Artist last year at the Kansas State Fair, Sheley shows a thick and vibrant style of painting that is truly unique.

A Washburn University graduate, Sheley says she was an athlete looking to take another class and really stumbled into what has now become her passion.

Check out the rest of Alissay Sheley's work on her website.
