Texas-Fort-Hood-Hearing
Alleged Fort Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan, will have a pretrial hearing in his hospital room tomorrow, according to CNN's Brian Todd who just spoke with Hasan's Attorney John Galligan. Hasan is accused of killing 13 people and wounding several others at Fort Hood on November 5th.
US-Cuba-Spies
72-year-old former State Department worker Walter Myers and his wife have pleaded guilty to aiding the government of Cuba for nearly 30 years. Myers retired from the State Department in October of 2007. He and his wife were arrested in June.
US-Blackwater-Charge-Dropped
A manslaughter charge is being dropped against Nicholas Slatten, a former Blackwater contractor charged in a high profile shooting incident in Baghdad two years ago. Reasons for the decision weren't made public.
POL-Senate-Health-Bill
The Senate votes tomorrow night on whether to debate or not to debate a Democratic-backed health care reform bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says
MONEY-Markets-New-York
Stocks closed lower for the third day in a row today, with the Dow falling 13 points.
MONEY-Bank-Failure
It's Friday and that means more bank failures. The first to close so far is Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers. That makes 124 this year.
