The Capital City crushers bouted it out Sunday night.

The Crushers are an all ladies flat track roller derby team here in Topeka.

Sunday they "bouted" it out against Wichita's ICT Roller Girls.

The crowd cheered as the derby girls rolled around fighting their way through the blockers, those watching had a list of illegal maneuvers to watch for and the rules of the game.

The Capital City Crushers play about once a month.

Their next bout is scheduled for August 9th.

They will face the Omaha Rollergirls, the bout starts at 7:30.
