There is trouble for the two largest non-profit groups in our state.
With the recent tornadoes, flooding and wind damage we have had it's caused major financial struggles for the Salvation Army and American Red Cross that provide disaster relief to Kansas.
Recent tornadoes in Kansas cities such as Chapman and Salina as well as the ongoing flooding throughout Western Missouri have
left the Salvation Army scrambling for money to help.
The relief fund of the American Red Cross has also been heavily impacted.
