WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The Wichita NAACP has called for the firings of three police officers who allegedly made inappropriate racial and sexual comments at a party.

The officers, who are all with the Wichita department, were suspended last week.

Wichita Police Chief Norman Williams says the department is investigating the allegations. They stem from the complaint of a citizen who claims to have heard the officers make the comments.

The officers were off-duty when the alleged conversation took place. But department policy says officers must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects favorably on the department both on and off duty.

Wichita NAACP leaders say ``expressions of hatred and bigotry'' by public safety officials ``should NOT be tolerated.''

How many Gangsta RAP songs use the "n" word, the "b" word and "Ho" as part of their lyrics?

Who died amde made the NAACP the judges of "racial comments"? This group is the oldest group of racists and communists in the U.S. The article does not mention what these comments were so all we have is condemnation by a racist group calling police racists.

Equal Rights! What a joke! Whites don't have equal rights anymore, anywhere.

This whole thing upsets me. It seems as if the white people have to worry at all times that what they say will offend someone. Yet it seems to be alright to call whites various names. HOw often do you see a white person call for something to be done because a black has offended him. Whites can't have an all white college or an all white miss america contest yet the blacks can. Where is the equality. Now i am not saying that it is ok to make racial slurs but where is the freedom of speech? If you fire these officers then please make sure that every black officer that has said anything racial towards whites is fired also. This is getting ridiculous.

Maybe we should have more citizens like that in Topeka. Two brothers earlier this year were shot by off duty police officers and our citizens felt no wrong doing in that incident and we are hardly updated on the surrondings of evidence or circumstances of the shooting and why it occured.

Why does the NAACP, the Rev Al and the Rev Jesse always call for termination? Why don't they offer race relation training? Are we not savable?

Excuse me, what happened to equality and freedom for all? A person from an ethnic group can say anything they want about a white person and that's okay, but let a white person say something, and it's illegal. The next time a person of ethnic background says something to a cop, will the NAACP help them?
