Patriotic hymns and music filled Grace Episcopal Cathedral Friday morning at its Independence Day service.

Eight area choirs joined their voices for the celebration which drew people from as far away as Emporia and Kansas City.

Special guest Brigadier General Deborah Rose of the Kansas National Guard delivered an inspirational Fourth of July message.

Watch the video to hear a rendition of "God Bless America" and hear from Steve Burk, the Music Director of Grace Cathedral about the event.
