Ramona Morgan was sentenced Tuesday in Osage County District Court on convictions handed down by an Osage County jury on April 22, 2008.

Morgan was sentenced to the maximum of 7 months in prison on the felony fleeing and attempting to elude charge and fined $60 dollars on each of the traffic infractions.

The court dismissed the reckless driving charge because it merged with the felony fleeing and attempting to elude offense. Morgan was given credit for 253 days that she has already served in the Osage County Jail.

The time she has already served is longer than the 7 month sentence handed down and so she has already served the Osage County sentence and will be released from the Osage County Jail to Douglas County authorities to answer to charges in Douglas County.
