A ten-inch water main break Monday closed two lanes of Kansas Avenue for about five hours.

The main broke about 11 a.m. near 31st and Kansas.

Southbound and center lanes from 29th to 37th streets were closed while city water crews began repair the main.

They finished repairs and traffic re-opened about 4 p.m.
