TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Providing relief for Moore, Oklahoma is continuing in Topeka.

West Ridge Mall teamed up with the Red Cross and The Salvation Army to collect items for those affected by the May tornado that ripped through Moore, Oklahoma.

105.9 Kiss FM and Chik-Fil-A joined in at the lower level Dillard's parking lot.

They are pushing for monetary donations.

Items such as diapers, baby swipes, formula, water and pre-packaged snacks were accepted as well.

The Salvation Army encourages those items because victims in Oklahoma can use them instantaneously, and because many don't have storage anymore, those items will do the most good.

Simon Property Group, the company that owns West Ridge mall, will send the items collected to Oklahoma.
