TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A new AT&T study shows that 43% of American teenage drivers admit to texting and driving.
Because of that high number, Governor Sam Brownback has proclaimed Wednesday, September 19th as "no text on board pledge day".
Signs across the state will have messages such as "Please do not text and drive. It can wait" on them to warn drivers of the dangers of texting and driving.
