Tuesday Marks Deadline To Register For April 2nd Election


TOPEKA -- Shawnee County Election Commissioner Andrew Howell is reminding citizens that tomorrow, March 12th is the deadline to register to vote prior to the April 2nd General Election.

The regular hours for the Shawnee County Election Office are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are also many permanent voter registration locations in the county including many locations for Capital Federal Savings, CoreFirst Bank & Trust and Fidelity State Bank during business hours. There are also some locations with later hours such as the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library which is open until 9:00 p.m.
