TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - It's unknown if Topeka will be affected when a store specializing in technology products and services closes 1,100 stores across the U.S.
RadioShack made the announcement Tuesday, stating they reported a wider loss for fourth quarter traffic during the holiday season.
Retailers lost $191.4 million for the period that ended on December 31st; sales fell 19 percent.
RadioShack's headquarters told 13 News that they are not releasing a store closing list at this time.
After the closings. RadioShack would have more than 4,000 stores still open.
