TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Topeka Symphony Orchestra brought the old west to a theater full of area children.
The Topeka Performing Arts Center and the Topeka Symphony played host to 2,100 students from 69 schools throughout northeast Kansas.
Students heard featured music from, "The Grand Canyon Suite," by Ferde Gofe,"Billy The Kid," by Aaron Copland and "How The West Was Won."
And in the end, the kids helped Wiley Pickett catch the elusive bandit who was disrupting his performance. The symphony will perform a paid admission concert of the same program Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
